During Justin Verlander‘s time with the Detroit Tigers, he and his teammates were never able to reach their goal of winning a World Series, despite getting there on two occasions.
On Monday, Verlander was with his Houston Astros teammates at Comerica Park as they prepare to take on the Tigers.
Prior to the first game of the series, Verlander revealed that one of his biggest regrets from his time with the Tigers is not winning a World Series for Mike Ilitch.
Take a listen as Verlander also talks about why he feels the Tigers came up short when they made it to the World Series.
Justin Verlander admits he thinks about the past, and why the Tigers didn't win a ring.
"I think the reason was the time off before the two World Series. I think we had the talent to do it for many, many years." pic.twitter.com/h7p7lDOaMs
