Karan Higdon had a career day against the Indiana Hoosiers this afternoon. He literally carried the load for the Wolverines and nearly single-handedly won the game.
Higdon had 25 carries, gaining 200 yards, and scored 3 touchdowns. None, prettier than his OT run on first down for the go-ahead score.

Through the first six games of the season, Higdon had been sharing touches with Chris Evans and Ty Isaac. Today he made a statement. The Wolverines would be wise to keep giving this kid the lion share of the touches.
Higdon’s score was enough for the Wolverines to squeak past the Hoosiers, as the defense made a huge fourth down stand on the three-yard line. Next week the Wolverines travel to Happy Valley to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions.
