Early on Wednesday, a very special ceremony service was held in downtown Detroit at the FOX Theatre to honor and remember the late great owner of the Tigers and Red Wings, Mike Ilitch.
Among those in attendance was the former president of the United States, George W. Bush. He shared his thoughts and memories in Ilitch, regarding him as a true “patriot.” Also on hand paying their respects were former Red Wing and current color analyst Mickey Redmond, and team general manager Ken Holland.
They too had some fine words to share on Mr. I.
