During his introductory press conference, Holland was asked if he envisioned himself as a Red Wing forever.
“Did I envision myself being a Red Wing forever? Yeah. I did.” Holland said.
Holland also added that he knew it was time to step aside as Red Wings’ GM the moment Steve Yzerman stepped down as GM of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
