WATCH: Lions hype video, ‘Ready for Week 1?’

detroit-lions-logoIt’s almost time Detroit Lions fans!

There are only four more days until the 2016 NFL regular season campaign gets underway for our hometown boys. The Lions will begin 2016 on the road against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Many ‘hype’ videos have been produced by a plethora of people leading up to this season. The Lions themselves released their own version of a ‘hype’ video for the upcoming 2016 season this morning. It’s a video that is sure to get the blood flowing and have you asking yourself the question… Is it Sunday yet?

I know personally, I always find myself watching way too many of these types of videos before a particular season gets underway, whether it’s football or another sport being spotlighted. Detroit has a solid group of guys put in place for 2016 and barring any injuries, if they can stay healthy throughout the season, there’s absolutely no reason whatsoever why the Lions can’t be a contender to make the playoffs.

With that being said, enjoy this video and get yourself ready for what will hopefully be a positive season in the Motor City, where we hear more ‘roaring’ going on, instead of ‘booing’.

Born & raised in the mitten. Grew up in Traverse City, but moved down to the Redford, MI area after my Dad tragically passed away in 1999 because that's where he was being buried and we wanted to be down there with him. I'm an avid Detroit sports fan, growing up in the state of Michigan and having such a solid block of teams to root for is something special. Iv'e always liked discussing Detroit sports whether it be about the past, the present or even what the future holds for Michigan sports teams. It's a long time coming as I am very excited to be apart of the DSN team and be able to construct interesting features to be posted for Detroit Sports fans to read/discuss about.
