Wednesday marked the official first day of summer and Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera has yet to find his stride. Through 58 games, the former Triple Crown winner is batting only .266 with seven home runs.

The Tigers as a team have seemed to follow the lead of Cabrera this season as they now sit seven games under the .500 mark, which puts them 6.5 games out of first place in the American League Central.

Though Miggy has not been able to get his bat going, he has continued to be his playful self on the field, especially when interacting with the fans.

On Wednesday, during a game which saw the Tigers fall to the Seattle Mariners 7-5, Cabrera took an opportunity to fondle a fan’s beard after a foul ball.

Is it just us, or would Miggy’s latest fan interaction be much funnier had the Tigers won the game?
