The NC State Wolfpack beat Coastal Carolina on Monday 8-1 as part of the Raleigh Regional in the NCAA College World Series. Unfortunately for NC State coach Elliot Avent, he wasn’t able to see his team’s victory.

Avent approached the mound after Coastal Carolina was granted a walk on a controversial full count pitch. The NC State coach then proceeded to rant at home plate umpire Scott Higgins before being pulled away by another official. Avent then laid out a video game-style spin move on the official.
Apparently the spin-tastic coach will be taking a break from using his skills on officials however. He was suspended for two games for “prolonged arguing.” NCAA does it again…

The embattled skipper of the Wolfpack did release a statement following his ejection and the punishment he received.

Coach Avent, you passed with flying colors in our book. He sparked his team in a must-win game for the Pack and they did indeed respond.
And here’s a video of the spin move dubbed with the audio from Braxton Miller’s epic spin move.
