On Thursday, the Detroit Lions officially kick off training camp with their first practice.

Prior to the practice, Lions’ head coach Matt Patricia was available to speak to the media but everyone was a bit surprised with the way he came out to the podium.
Take a look as Patricia was forced to roll out to the podium on a leg supporting cart due to a recent foot surgery.

Patricia explained the surgery was to clean some stuff up, though he almost slipped up with his verbiage, which apparently amused those in attendance for the presser.
Patricia on his leg injury: "Doctors went in and kind of cleaned some sh—- some stuff up in there .. We all need training camp." Drew a nice little chuckle from everyone with his near slip of the tongue
