Kelly Catholic High School (in blue) faced off against Kountze High School (in white) in a classic Texas high school showdown on the gridiron. While Kountze came away with the 34-7 victory, it was Kelly Catholic getting the last laugh and/or play of the week.

We’re not really sure if this was intentional and this kicker was reaching ‘expert’ level of being a savage, or he really messed up the onside kick that poorly. He’s kicking it off from the opposing 45-yard line so it could have been a part of some strategy. His teammates on the far side seemed to play it off well if indeed it was planned, they look stunned that it bounced back.
Regardless of how you slice and dice it up, it’s definitely not something you see everyday.
