The Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans hockey teams held a moment of silence at Joe Louis Arena, home of the Detroit Red Wings, before their “Duel in the D” match-up. Red Wings owner Mike Ilitch passed away earlier in the day at the age of 87.
