There was no question about it when the pick was made and there is no question about it now, Teez Tabor does not have what it takes to be an above average NFL player.

Yet, Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn selected Tabor in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft despite his lack of speed. Quinn insisted Tabor's game speed was better than his poor 40-yard dash time and that he had what it takes to play at the NFL level.
On Wednesday, Quinn was in Indianapolis for the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine and he was asked about Tabor, specifically.
Quinn said he still has faith in Tabor and that the team is not giving up on him because they count on him getting better.
Bob Quinn on Teez Tabor:
"I still have faith in him."
"We're not giving up on him."
"He's a guy we're counting on to get better."

Quinn's comments on Wednesday are similar to those he made about Tabor in January.
Via Detroit News:
“I think Teez is still developing,” Quinn said on Friday. “Has Teez played as good as I would’ve hoped? No. I’ll be honest with you, no. I’ve never stood up here and said, ‘I’m going to hit 1,000 percent on my batting average in free agency or the draft.’ If I did, we’d win every game and we’d be 16-0 going to the Super Bowl.
“I know one thing, that I’m very confident with the decisions that we make about player acquisition. Teez hasn’t probably played as well as I would’ve hoped, but I think there’s still upside there. I think he knows what he needs to work on and he had a great attitude all season.”
Nation, what do you think about Tabor? Is it time for Quinn and the Lions to cut their losses or do you agree that Teez could still develop into a good NFL player?
