On Sunday, the Detroit Lions went into Minnesota and laid an egg against the Vikings in a game that could have got the Lions to 4-4 on the season.

During the game, Matthew Stafford was stacked right and left as the offense could never get it going.

Throughout and following the game, social media was littered with Lions fans and local media members ripping the team.

On Monday, Kelly Stafford, Matthew’s wife, took to Instagram to share her feelings about many Lions fans and media members.

To say that Kelly is pissed would be an understatement.

“It’s funny to me how media and some fans think they know either the game or how to play the game of football better than the coaches and players who do it professionally. There is a reason they are employed to do this and you are not. If you think you can do it better than give it a try.. but until then, please just sthu.”

What do you think nation, are you on Kelly Stafford’s side or do you think she was over the top with this post?

LOOK: The Detroit News uses headline to troll Lions’ Matt Patricia

The past week has been an interesting one for the Detroit Lions and it all ended on Sunday with a lackluster performance on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.

One of the big headlines this week, rather than talking about the football team, instead focused on an incident that happened during a Matt Patricia press conference.

During that presser, Patricia had an exchange with a reporter that left many media members feeling insulted.

In case you missed it, here was how the back-and-forth went.

Reporter: “Why do you think this move makes your franchise better?”

Patricia: “Ah, well, you know. Do me a favor just kinda sit up, just like, have a little respect for the process. Every day you come and ask me questions and you’re just kinda like you know, ‘gimme this.’ “

Reporter: “I’m sitting …”

Patricia: “I’m asking just to be a little respectful in this whole process.”

Reporter: “Okay, that’s fine.”

Patricia: “So ask me a question professionally and I’ll answer it for you.”

Patricia then went on to answer the question.
