On Sunday, a Twitter account (which will not be named) created a fake tweet which was supposed to look like it came from University of Michigan quarterback, Shea Patterson.

The fake tweet, which was spread around the internet, had Patterson ripping one of his fellow Big Ten quarterbacks and Wolverines’ head coach, Jim Harbaugh.

The fake tweet made it all the way to Patterson, who happened to be out golfing. Following his round, which he claims ended with a birdie, he hopped on Twitter and put the troll account on blast.

Check it out.

*Note: Our writer who originally posted a story about the fake tweet was taken down immediately when he found out it was not real. We truly apologize for aiding in the spreading of FAKE NEWS, this is not something we intended and we apologize to Shea Patterson.
