The initial reaction<\/a> to the Detroit Lions unveiling new uniform combinations<\/a> back in April was met with mixed emotions. Even after letting it simmer over time, many people have come to accept and like the new look while others were not so welcome to change.<\/p>\n

However, fans of the more traditional look should be more than pleased come Thanksgiving when the Lions welcome in their division rival Minnesota Vikings. Detroit on Thursday will break out the “new” throwback duds.<\/p>\n

No surprise, but Lions will be wearing their "new" throwback jerseys on Thanksgiving vs. Vikings.<\/p>\n
