As you know, the Detroit Lions have not exactly had much success with kickers ever since they decided to part ways with Matt Prater.

In fact, the Lions are now on their 6th kicker of the 2021 season and, of course, at least three of their former kickers have now won the Special Teams Player of the Week award with the latest being Zane Gonzalez, who is now kicking for the Panthers.

Not bringing back Matt Prater was always a bad move.

  1. Why was letting Prater walk such a bad move? The bad move was not keeping Gonzalez. And how do you not even mention that Darius Slay also won PoW. Or that this is actually the SECOND one Gonzalez has won. Horrible journalism.
