WATCH: Zak Irvin beats Northwestern in OT

Michigan needed a win against Northwestern to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive this afternoon in the squad’s opening game of the Big Ten Tournament.

With about four seconds left in overtime, Zak Irvin hit a long two-pointer from the top of the key to save the day for the Wolverines.

With the victory, Michigan advances to play Indiana tomorrow at noon.
