On Friday, the Detroit Tigers introduced Ron Gardenhire as their next manager. He will be taking over a team that is coming off a last-place finish and is clearly in a rebuilding phase.
Following his introductory press conference, Gardenhire had a question for Tigers fans that had absolutely nothing to do with the Detroit Tigers. In fact, it had nothing at all to do with baseball. Instead, Gardenhire had a question about the Detroit Red Wings.

Apparently, Gardenhire is quite the hockey fan and is excited about checking out his new home team. He did just that on Friday night as the Red Wings hosted the Washington Capitals.
