As you know by now, the Detroit Tigers have hired A.J. Hinch to be their next manager.
Hinch, of course, was fired by the Houston Astros and suspended by Major League Baseball in wake of the Astros’ sign-stealing scandal in 2017.

Hinch has been remorseful for what happened in Houston and he assured the Tigers that he has learned from his mistakes and that he has grown as a person.
But, as you can see in the photo below which was posted by the Tigers, it looks like Hinch has stolen the No. 14, which is the number OF Christin Stewart wore in 2020.

Of course, we are just kidding around with this. Hinch did not steal anything as Stewart will either wear a new number or, and I think this is likely, he will be released prior to the 2021 season.
