BREAKING: 5-star Cass Tech WR Donovan Peoples-Jones commits to Michigan

Detroit-native and top wide receiver recruit Donovan Peoples-Jones has committed to the University of Michigan. Peoples-Jones starred for his high school team at Cass Tech.

The 6-foot-2, 192-pound receiver/kick returner is ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver and #11 overall recruit in the nation by 24/7 Sports. The 17-year-old made his choice from a Top 5 list of schools that included Michigan’s top two rivals, Michigan State and Ohio State, as well as Sunshine State rivals, Florida and Florida State. He plans to enroll early at Michigan giving him a head start with the program.

The addition of Peoples-Jones puts Michigan’s 2017 class ranked #7 in the country, according to 247Sports. He also becomes the first 5-star prospect to pledge for the Wolverines of ’17.
