With the NFL trade deadline set for 4 p.m. today, you can bet the rumors/reports will be spreading like crazy. You can also bet the Detroit Lions will be in on those rumors.
Will the Lions trade Darius Slay? Will they trade for a position of need? Only time will tell.
That being said, here are three last-minute trade deadline targets for the Lions to consider.
Ryan Kerrigan (LB)

Not only has the Lions linebacking core struggled, but the defense, in general, has struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks so far this season.
Kerrigan is a sack machine and though his age is not ideal, he still had the ability to provide a skillset the Lions have lacked.
Rashaad Penny (RB)

With Kerryon Johnson out until at least Week 16 with a knee injury, the Lions absolutely must improve their running back depth.
Penny is a guy Bob Quinn has reportedly shown interest in and he could be the target before the deadline hits.
Trent Williams (LT)

The Lions offensive line has left much to be desired and part of that is because they do not have cornerstone left tackle.
As the Lions offense stands, Matthew Stafford is going to have to throw the ball early and often for Detroit to win and keepin him upright and healthy should be priority No. 1.
IF the Lions think they are contenders, Bob Quinn may just get crazy and pay up for on of the best LTs in the NFL.
