Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is back in the news.

Yesterday, he and his wife, Sarah, dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Claus during a hospital visit to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. This visit came before Michigan’s team post-season awards banquet.

You can see a photo of Harbaugh and his wife below, provided by MLive:

The photo was sent to MLive by Luke and Ashley Voss, who were admitted to C.S. Mott while awaiting the arrival of their first child. Ashley’s water broke shortly before they snapped this photo with the Harbaugh’s.

Harbaugh spent two hours visiting patients, some of whom had no idea that Harbaugh was behind the beard.

It has become a common practice for Harbaugh to visit children’s hospitals during his coaching career. He has a fund called the Harbaugh Fund that donated $50,000 to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in April to purchase virtual-reality viewers for young patients, after his own son, John, was born prematurely in January.

Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines will return to action on New Year’s Day, when they take on South Carolina in the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Florida.
