Detroit Red Wings forced to stay in Winnipeg another night due to plane trouble

Nothing is going right for the Detroit Red Wings this season.

On Tuesday night, the Red Wings hoped to snap an 11-game winless streak when they took the ice against the Winnipeg Jets. Unfortunately, they did not even come close to picking up a win as the Jets dominated the Wings by a score of 5-1.

But the loss, their 10th in the past 12 games (0-10-2), was not the only thing to go wrong for the Red Wings as their airplane was not ‘working properly' so they were forced to stay in Winnipeg an extra night.

At some point, maybe not this year, things are going to turn around for the Red Wings. Unfortunately, the light at the end of the tunnel still seems like a very long distance away.
