According to a report from Jeff Passan, the Los Angeles Dodgers are finalizing a deal to acquire LHP Danny Duffy from the Kansas City Royals. The details of the trade have not yet been revealed.
Duffy, who is 32, is 4-3 with a 2.51 ERA in 13 games (12 starts) with the Royals in 2021. He is currently on the injured list but is expected to return.
There is also a report floating around that the Dodgers have not given up on trading for Max Scherzer.
