Red Wings defenseman Filip Hronek questionable vs. Leafs

The Detroit Red Wings will be looking to build off of their strong 3-1 start to the season tonight when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs at Little Caesars Arena.

However, they may have to do so without defenseman Filip Hronek, who is listed as a game time decision. He had his head slammed against the glass during the team's victory against Montreal earlier this week, and he didn't practice Friday or skate this morning.

If Hronek is unable to play, then newly acquired defenseman Alex Biega will make his Red Wings debut.

Here are the lines from this morning with Hronek included:

FORWARDS

Bertuzzi-Larkin-Mantha
Hirose-Athanasiou-Glendening
Erne-Ehn-Filppula
Helm-de la Rose-Abdelkader

DEFENSEMEN

DeKeyser-Hronek
Nemeth-Green
Cholowski-Bowey

Howard (starting)
Bernier

Meanwhile, Frans Nielsen, Trevor Daley and Jonathan Ericsson all skated this morning; Nielsen and Daley could both return to the lineup next week, while Ericsson remains uncertain when he'll return.
