This comes as no surprise considering Matthew Stafford is an iron man but according to Tom Pelissero, the Detroit Lions signal-caller, despite dealing with multiple injuries, will start on Sunday vs. the Minnesota Vikings.
Stafford has been in pain but has been very clear that if he is able to play, he will play. Period.
Nation, should the Lions override Stafford’s decision or let him make the call?
Barring any setbacks overnight, #Lions QB Matthew Stafford — listed as questionable with rib, right thumb and ankle injuries — will start Sunday’s finale against the #Vikings, per source. Nothing on the line for Detroit, but Stafford is determined to gut this out.

Let him play if he wants to/ can, at least the first quarter.
