The Detroit Tigers selected phenom Spencer Torkelson with the 1st overall pick in last year’s MLB Draft, and so far, he looks every bit as good as advertised.
He as promoted by the Tigers to Double-A Erie by mid-June, and it’s worked out quite well. In fact, Torkelson has been honored by being named the top minor league player within the Detroit organization:
