The Detroit Tigers were looking to get back to the .500 mark on the season on Tuesday night against the New York Yankees but things did not go as planned as the Yankees came into Comerica Park and walked away with a 4-2 victory.

During the loss, Miguel Cabrera did pick up his 2,996th career hit as he continues to chase the 3,000 hit club.
