2 Free agent running backs try out for Detroit Lions

As the Detroit Lions continue their final preparations for their Week 6 matchup vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars, they were also busy with a couple of tryouts.

According to the NFL, running backs Dalyn Dawkins (Colorado State) and Taquan Mizzell (Virginia) were in Allen Park on Thursday to try out for the Lions.

The Lions are pretty set at the RB position at the moment but it is always good to have a backup plan in place in case of an injury or illness.
