BREAKING: Adrian Peterson and Vikings to part ways


According to multiple reports, the Minnesota Vikings have announced they will not exercise their 2017 team option on RB Adrian Peterson, making him a free agent.

Peterson, who is 31-years-old, was originally drafted by the Vikings 7th overall in the 1st Round of the 2007 NFL Draft.

During his time in the league, he has made the Pro Bowl seven times, while rushing for 11,747 yards in his career.
