Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose listed as OUT ahead of tomorrow’s game

The Detroit Pistons received good news earlier when it was reported that All-Star forward Blake Griffin was cleared to resume all basketball-related activities, but according to Rod Beard of the Detroit News, Blake Griffin is listed as out for tomorrow's game against the Indiana Pacers.

Possibly joining Griffin in street clothes for tomorrow's game includes Derrick Rose, Reggie Jackson, and Pistons first-round rookie Sekou Doumbouya. Tim Frazier is considered doubtful ahead of tomorrow's game.

Keep in mind that this is an early injury report, so this could change. Reggie Jackson is expected to miss at least four weeks of action, so barring any miracles, we can expect Jackson to sit this one out.

The Pistons planned to monitor Rose's minutes this season, so rushing him through a hamstring injury appears to be out of the question unless Rose can prove he's fully healed by opening tip-off tomorrow night.

Pistons rookie Sekou Doumbouya was already expected to spend time with the Grand Rapid Drive and is not expected to be apart of the Pistons rotation this season.

Luke Kennard and Bruce Brown Jr. have seen an increase in their workload with Griffin, Rose and Jackson missing action. Look for more of the same in tomorrow's matchup with the Pacers.

The Pistons are 2-0 against the Pacers this season and will look to make it 3-0 when they face off with their central division foe on the road tomorrow night at 7:00 pm.
