According to Matt Patricia, the Detroit Lions have signed defensive tackle, Fred Jones. In a corresponding move, they have released wide receiver Brandon Reilly.

With the multiple injuries to defensive linemen on the team, it’s no surprise the Lions made this roster move.
Jones had been signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted rookie free agent before being cut this past week. During his senior season at Florida State, he played in nine games, recording 26 tackles and two sacks.
