When it comes to track and field stars from the United States, Carl Lewis is the GOAT.
Lewis won a whopping nine Gold Medals in the Long Jump and Sprinting events during his Olympic career.
Well, on Wednesday night, Lewis watched the Tokyo Olympics 4 x 100 race and he was not happy at all with how the United States team of Trayvon Bromell, Fred Kerley, Ronnie Baker, and Cravon Gillespie, who finished sixth in their heat and failed to qualify for the final.
Following the race, Lewis took to Twitter to bash the USA men’s relay team.
“The USA team did everything wrong in the men’s relay,” Lewis tweeted. “The passing system is wrong, athletes running the wrong legs, and it was clear that there was no leadership. It was a total embarrassment, and completely unacceptable for a USA team to look worse than the AAU kids I saw.”
