The Detroit Lions real RB trade target is still available

With the NFL trade deadline coming on Tuesday, the thought is that the Detroit Lions will do what they can to add a running back to the mix.

One running back who seemed to be a good fit was Kenyan Drake.

But Drake will not be heading to the Motor City as he has reportedly been traded to the Arizona Cardinals for a 6th round (could become a 5th round) draft pick.

Report: Miami Dolphins have traded RB Kenyan Drake

So, with Drake no longer an option, who could the Lions be targeting to replace Kerryon Johnson, who is out until at least Week 16 with a knee injury?

According to Erik Schlitt of LionsWire, the Lions could be targeting Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny. Schlitt notes that he believes GM Bob Quinn would be willing to give up a top 100 draft pick to acquire Penny.

What do you think, Nation? Would Penny be a good fit for the Lions? Would he be worth giving up that much draft capital?
