Detroit Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill fired up during post-game presser

Detroit Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill wasn't too impressed with his squad following tonight's 5-3 setback to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Other than forward Adam Erne, who scored his first two goals of the year, Blashill explained that several of his players who are relied upon for offense and leadership didn't display those qualities tonight, and his frustration was apparent from the get-go.

“We've got a whole lot of guys that are good hockey players in our room that aren't playing as good as they can,” Blashill said. “We've got to find a way to pick it up and play lots better.
