Game Notes:
Buck Farmer was dealing again tonight going 6.2 innings of shutout baseball earning his second consecutive win. The game turned into a pitcher's duel as both Farmer and Alex Meyer were in control all night long. The Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the third inning when they loaded the bases against Meyer and Victor Martinez grounded into a double play, driving in Ian Kinsler. Justin Upton kept his sweet swinging ways going, connecting for a three-run bomb in the bottom of the eighth to extended the Tigers lead.
The 13-inning scoreless streak is the Tigers' longest since Matthew Boyd (April 11-16), who Farmer replaced in the rotation. https://t.co/3AyXUi9jyx

Looking Ahead:
The Tigers send Michael Fulmer to the mound tomorrow looking for their third consecutive series win. It's a 1:10 pm start for the ball club as they look to turn their relative bad fortune against the Angels around. Fulmer will look to continue his dominance over Major League hitters, as the sophomore phenom has led the Tigers staff all season long.
