Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera has provided us with countless memories over the years, and etched his name into the record books as one of the greatest Tigers and hitters in MLB history.
And today against the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park, he's added another notch to his repertoire.
With his 2,839th career hit, he's tied Detroit Tigers Hall of Fame Charlie Gehringer for 50th all time on the MLB hit list.

Next up on the list for Miggy to catch? None other than former Tigers catcher Iván Rodríguez.
Gehringer played for the Tigers from 1924 to 1942, a span of 19 years. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1949.
