Detroit Tigers’ Miguel Cabrera ties Charlie Gehringer for 50th all time in hits

Add another notch to Miggy's Hall of Fame career.

Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera has provided us with countless memories over the years, and etched his name into the record books as one of the greatest Tigers and hitters in MLB history.

And today against the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park, he's added another notch to his repertoire.

With his 2,839th career hit, he's tied Detroit Tigers Hall of Fame Charlie Gehringer for 50th all time on the MLB hit list.
