Golden Tate of the Detroit Lions and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson placed a friendly “Twitter wager” over the result of the Miami-Notre Dame game, in which the loser would don the college jersey of the winner. And after Miami handily defeated Notre Dame 41-8, it was pretty clear who the loser in the bet was.
Get out of meetings. Check my @espn app and…….. 😡 pic.twitter.com/7TOjay7J8E

Well, Golden Tate was true to his word and honored the wager.

Now with this being The Rock, there's a lot that could have come out of his mouth after winning the bet. And with Notre Dame taking a whooping the way they did, the Rock easily could've dropped this gem on Tate.
But Johnson took the high road in the end.
Man of his word. @ShowtimeTate lost a bet to me when my @univmiami Canes beat his @NDFootball team. Had to wear my #94 jersey from The U.
Have a great game tomorrow brotha and Happy Thanksgiving. #ColorsOfAChamp #TheU 😉🤙🏾👊🏾 https://t.co/5Yf7mpS6Km— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) November 22, 2017

3 keys to a Lions victory on Thanksgiving against the Vikings

This is the second and final regular-season matchup between these two teams with Detroit taking the first game 14-7 in week four. Since losing to the Lions, the Vikings have won six straight games and are in sole possession of first place in the NFC North.
