Every since the moment news broke that the Detroit Lions had fired Matt Patricia, there has been plenty of speculation as to who the team will hire as their next head coach.
To be honest, I have probably heard 50 different candidates by now, but while watching the NFL on FOX pregame show, a candidate was mentioned that I had not yet considered.
During the pregame show, former Dallas Cowboys head coach suggested that the Lions consider current New York Giants OC Jason Garrett to replace Patricia.
I have to go back and rewatch, but I think Jimmy Johnson just pushed Giants OC Jason Garrett as a head coaching candidate for the Lions.
