Let's face it, if you happen to be either a Detroit Lions fan or a Michigan football fan, it has been a rough Thanksgiving weekend for you.
Heck, who are we kidding, it has been a rough 60+ years if you are a Lions fan and a tough couple of decades if root for the maize and blue on the football field.
First, the Lions figured out a way to lose…again…to the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day and then Michigan was absolutely embarrassed…again…by the hated Ohio State Buckeyes.
That being said, the good thing about sports is that we always have next year to look forward to. I mean, just take a look at how long Chicago Cubs had to wait!
Though the immediate future may not look so bright, we fans always believe that our teams will eventually turn it around and bring us home a championship.
