Matthew Stafford noncommittal to playing on Sunday vs. Panthers [Video]

Matthew Stafford is currently dealing with a partially torn ligament in the thumb on this throwing hand and the question that everybody wants an answer to is, “Will Stafford be able to play on Sunday when the Detroit Lions take on the Carolina Panthers?”

On Wednesday, Stafford was at practice but he did not participate as he continues to get treatment on his thumb.

Following practice, Stafford spoke with reporters and he was noncommittal to playing on Sunday.

“I'm just gonna take it day by day, try to see how it heals, how it feels throughout the week, and go from there,” he said.

Honestly, knowing Stafford, I would be shocked if he does not suit up against the Panthers on Sunday afternoon.
