He's the third highest paid college coach in the country. And now, his wallet is set to get a little fatter.
Michigan Football head coach Jim Harbaugh is slated to receive a 10% raise next month, meaning he'll be earning over $8 million next year. There is a clause in his contract that calls for a 10 percent raise to both his base salary and lucrative “additional compensation” portion of his deal on Jan. 11, 2020.
His contract also earned him a 10% raise in 2017.
Since joining the Wolverines as head coach ahead of the 2015 season, Harbaugh has put up a47-17 record, including a 32-12 mark in the Big Ten. However, he's the first Michigan coach to begin his tenure with five straight losses to the rival Buckeyes.
