On Wednesday night, news broke that Michigan wide receiver Andrel Anthony has decided to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal. Since then, there has been plenty of speculation as to where he will continue his football career. Well, according to Anthony, the Michigan State Spartans have thrown their hat into the ring for his services.
Michigan State trying to poach Andrel Anthony
Earlier this evening, Anthony took to Twitter to reveal that he has received and offer from the Spartans.
“Blessed to receive an offer from Michigan State,” Anthony tweeted.
In 22 career games with the Wolverines, Anthony had just 19 catches for 328 yards. During this past season, he had just 7 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Anthony has also received offers from Miami, Penn State, and UCLA. He is originally from East Lansing, so it would not be surprising to see him land at Michigan State.
