The crowd at Comerica Park erupted on Tuesday night as Detroit Tigers legend Miguel Cabrera made his way to the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Game 3 of the ALDS between the Tigers and Seattle Mariners.
In true Miggy fashion, the moment was pure perfection. Cabrera, who retired at the end of the 2023 season after a Hall of Fame career, walked out to thunderous applause from the Detroit faithful, waving to fans and smiling ear to ear.
When he finally took the mound, the energy in the stadium was electric. Cabrera delivered a smooth, confident toss right over the plate, drawing cheers that echoed through Comerica Park like one of his classic home runs.
