MUST SEE: J.D. Martinez blasts first home run with Arizona Diamondbacks

In about three and a half seasons playing in Detroit, J.D. Martinez hit 99 home runs, much to the joy of Tigers fans everywhere.

As we know, Martinez never got the chance to hit No. 100 with the Tigers as he was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks for a trio of prospects, none of which is considered to be a top 100 prospect in baseball.

Well, that’s in the past now and J.D. has begun his journey to make Arizona fans as happy as he made us during his time in Detroit.

On Monday night, he did just that as he blasted his first home run in a Diamondbacks uniform. Watch as Martinez absolutely destroys a baseball to center field in front of the home fans.

As hard as it is to see him in a different uniform, it’s just as easy to be happy for him at the same time. Keep raking J.D.!!!
