Earlier this morning, reports broke that the Detroit Lions were going to be hiring former Los Angeles Chargers DL coach Giff Smith to the same role in Detroit under new head coach Dan Campbell.
Now, we have to pump those breaks.
According to beat writer Dave Birkett, who broke the initial report, the hiring may not happen after all.
