Richard Sherman names two Detroit Lions’ players in latest “Players Tribune” piece

Sharing is caring!

Richard Sherman, aka the mouth of the… well he’s not in the south so that doesn’t work, how about Best of the West? He’s definitely up there when it comes to cornerbacks. Anyway, love him or hate him, he’s got a big mouth and he usually backs it up on the field. But he also gives respect to those he feels deserve it (not Michael Crabtree though).

Now, if you have not heard of The Players Tribune, I highly recommend checking it out, it’s a great site where players write pieces about anything and everything.

Sherman has written for them before, on a piece titled, The 5 Toughest Receivers I’ve Ever Covered, where, for the most part, he listed guys you can probably name off the top of your head: Julio Jones, A.J. Green, Larry Fitzgerald, Antonio Brown.

But this latest piece is on the most underrated great receivers that Sherman has faced. It’s a nice piece, well thought out and well written, and (GASP!) it even has a couple of Lions on it!

That’s right, the Golden Tate and Marvin Jones made the short list for Sherman’s take. At least they’re getting love from someone, now if we can get them some Pro Bowl love, that would be the icing on the cake.
