According to a rumor that just surfaced, Detroit Lions RB Jermar Jefferson suffered an injury during Monday's practice.
Local blogger Jeremy Reisman says Jefferson left practice after getting rolled over during a special teams drill.
Most believe Jefferson, who has been playing well in training camp, is the favorite to be RB3 for the Lions in 2021.
This rumor has not yet been confirmed by any Lions beat writers so stay tuned.
Jermar Jefferson left practice early today after getting rolled over during a special teams drill. Tried to continue but had a heavy limp. Couldn’t put much pressure on that leg.
