The Detroit Lions have quite a few huge decisions to make during the upcoming offseason including hiring a new general manager and head coach, who will reportedly then decide on the fate of quarterback, Matthew Stafford.
Chris Spielman was recently hired to help advise Lions team president Rod Wood and owner Sheila Ford Hamp but there is somebody else who wants to step up and give his two cents.
That somebody is Lions LT Taylor Decker.
Decker spoke to the media on Monday and after saying he wants to spend his entire career with the Lions and win, he added that he is going to try and find Rod Wood today to offer his opinion.
Decker said it is easy to just “clean house” but that it is important to look at “what’s working” just as much.

Nation, would you prefer the Lions clean house or continue to build on what is working?
Build on what’s working, and Finally concentrate on DEFENSE .. By all means, KEEP Matthew !!
Offense was working, needs a few MINOR changes and Stafford is not one of the changes… he needs to stay. The Defense needs a lot of work but there are some talented players on that side too. An offense should not have to put up over 30 points a game to win because the defense allows even teams with WEAK offenses to score 30+ points in a game
Totally agree with T-Decks. I would even keep Bevell as HC. The team already knows and loves the guy and you could see the difference in teamwork and attitude under him. It is apparent that Chris likes Bevell and the change in attitude under him. And yes KEEP STAFFORD! I’ve heard two super bowl winning Quarterbacks say Stafford is excellent and one said he is top 10 maybe top 5 of all time.
