21. 2-24-03: STEVE YZERMAN MAKES SEASON DEBUT FOLLOWING INJURY
There was an aura of anticipation around Detroit on February 24, 2003. The Detroit Red Wings had been without their leader Steve Yzerman all season following major knee surgery during the summer of 2002. But The Captain returned on a snowy night at the Joe against the Los Angeles Kings in what was one of the most anticipated regular season games to date in Hockeytown.
