Transit worker saves man from oncoming train following Lions game

A BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) worker saved a man who had fallen onto subway tracks from an oncoming train following the Detroit Lions/Oakland Raiders game in Oakland.

An fan who had just left the game stumbled and fell onto the tracks, but was saved at the last second by John O’Connor, who has worked BART for the past 20 years and was working crowd control following the game.

The fan, who apparently was intoxicated, was checked out at a local hospital.

“I was fortunate that God put me there and he go to see another day. When I spoke to him later, I told him, ‘Hey, pay it forward,'” O’Connor said.

That man's a hero! He should definitely be rewarded with tickets or another favor.
